PHOTOGRAPHY
After 15 years as a professional photographer and producing shoots for the likes of New Balance with global approval, I ventured out to start Ford Creative Content in 2024.
Of course my background as a professional photographer is the foundation to this work and with a proven track record providing campaign stills for brands such as ASICS, HEARST Corporation, Netflix USA, UMBRO UK, LEGO and others, while shooting all over the world including Cape Town, Paris, Tokyo, New York and Bydgoszcz (Google it).
I have the experience and confidence to provide all kinds of imagery from reportage style documentaries, behind the scenes, portraits, landscapes, interiors, editorial, fashion, lifestyle and advertising.
VIDEO
Iv'e had great fun shooting video for agencies such as DUKE, documentary content for Non-Profit conservation group EDGE and SANPARKS, as well as behind the scenes for brands like SPUR and the SPRINGBOKS but I've realised that there is only so much I can do with a three axis gimbal and a variable ND. I have come to trust in a handful of talented camera operators and DOP's to bring creative briefs to life and working together has provided incredible results for for brands such as NEW BALANCE.
PRODUCTION PLANNING
As with all projects there is a certain amount of planning that goes on. I've had the privilege of being involved with creative agencies, producers, directors, photographers, stylists, models and agents from all over the world.
Pre-production comes first and is a vital stage to executing the planned production effectively, marrying the creative with the budget.
Shoot days need to run smoothly, from location permissions to crew catering and I have overseen all of this.
Lastly post-production is where we ensure all deliverables are on time and to the standard of the end client. We don't believe in "fixing it in post" and make sure we get in right in camera every time.
RETOUCHING
I have been trusted to retouch images for clients such as WORLD RUGBY, SANLAM and countless other brands. Again as work load dictates it is imperative to work closely with a few very talented pixel pushers in who we trust to deliver a global standard of work.
